~,~~~,@ God created Beauty

Beauty
From God’s point of view…
I’ve always been interested in beauty. Art and the world of aesthetics. When I became a Christian it had an even more, quite enormous, multi-dimensional meaning to me. This new revelation didn’t come overnight to me as a first born Christian, but several years later- after I discovered how awesome God really is.
So, digging into this topic I have read articles and pondered this element of life called beauty.
Now, God is the creator of all things, physical and spiritual so…He created this concept- beauty- whether it is one standard, subjective or objective.
It didn’t come out of nowhere- it has an author.
Most, infact all Christian articles I’ve read on beauty have been sadly disappointing and discredit God’s incredible mind of His artistry in His works of ‘Beauty’.
Basically, the core point of these articles are that beauty is simply and only on the inside. Beauty is a kind spirit, self-control, love, forgiveness, giving; in a nutshell, beauty is the fruits of the spirit. It’s LIMITED to thefruits of the spirit.
Why do I say “limited”? Becuase, these authors are giving God half-credit. Of course, spiritual or unseen; the Fruits of the Spirit are beautiful.

But they aren’t giving God enough credit to the whole AMAZING and exiting world of his creativity! His genious works!

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Did you know that the color green is the most calming, soothing color to the human eye? I wonder why shrubs and trees are painted green by the awesome author of all creation.
What a nice way to create peace in addition to the spiritual peace He offers. He’s a multi-dimensional God who made science and the supernatural. he delights and cares for both.
Just like He delights and cares for both parts of our being: spirit and body.
I’ve always been fascinated by butterflies, especially the Morpho and clear-winged butterfly.

And beta fish come in some amazing colors...

God cares just as much about the physical realm as the spiritual realm. Physical beauty is important just like spiritual beauty. Things like color, shape, details and nuances in creation should  be celebrated.
I am convinced that God delights in and is overjoyed by beauty. After all God is the Ultimate Beauty Queen!
“One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4
The Lords beauty, splendor, and magnificence is on display everywhere…
I enjoy the beauty that is around me. The expressive sunflower I see in the heat of Summer, the twilight at the end of a day and the beautiful smile of a friend.
The most valuable and beautiful of all creation is mankind- in my opinion and what I gather from scripture…
“For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and
honor.”
Psalm 8:5
In the Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, the definition
of ‘Glory’ is: great beauty and splendor: magnificence.
Think about Job- after trials, he was blessed with much livestock and many children, such as his 3 daughters who-
“Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters…” — Job 42:15
See God’s heart?
He blessed job with beauty through his daughters! What a gift!
~Beauty is a gift and a blessing~
God’s creative hand has an array of variety. There are so many types of blue eyes…bright, grey, deep, pale…
Browns and hazels…honey, golden, amber, even a striking yellow eye color exists.

There’s so many types of people in the world with different colors and shapes. Why would God create so much variety to what the eye can see if He didn’t care about it or wasn’t delighted in it?
So, the next time you look in the mirror, appreciate what God has given you and enjoy these blessings : ) as well as what’s all around you in nature...

God created and cares for the details...
